A Torrential End to The Santander Tour

I am very sad to see the last tournament played at The Santander Tour. It really has been such a pleasure to play on this tour this year and it has added to my schedule tremendously.

I have played a total of 5 events and each has helped me to grow as a player.

This final event at Golf De Santander was set to be a fantastic course and venue to play. The practice days and pro am really were fantastic. The course was in immaculate condition.

It was a shame that this event went out with such a downpour and round two had to be suspended. I really felt I was ready to climb that leaderboard. Having said that...coming from Scotland, I can honestly say I have never played in Wind and Rain quite like this. The small swimming pool on the 6th Green was the final sign we should stop play.

My best finish on the Santander Tour has been 16th and this event I finished T29th. I have developed my long game massively and course management. Now its time for me to get my short game and putting up to scratch and I thank The Santander Tour for helping me progress. See you next year!

Next up for me...Doha!

Muchas Gracias Santander Tour
